German female-fronted symphonic metallers Heaven's Guard signed a record deal with Boersma-Records and the band will release their debut album entitled Pathfinder later this year. The first single "The Cause Of Destiny" is already released and available for listening in the lyric video form.
Heaven's Guard comment: "With Boersma-Records we have found a partner who supports us with everything that is involved in releasing an album besides the actual playing. Sascha convinced us of the fantastic work that he and his team at Boersma-Records do in a few good conversations. We are now really looking forward to the cooperation and of course to the release of our first album Pathfinder."
Heaven's Guard is a symphonic metal band from Hanover. The idea for the band was born in 2017 by guitarist Steven. After the first two musicians were quickly found with Doreen on the microphone and Kevin on the drums, it took a good year until the group could fully rehearse for the first time with Karsten on the keys and Daniel on the bass. From 2019 Heaven's Guard played the first shows in Hanover and the surrounding area. After no more live events were possible from spring 2020, the band started planning the production of their first studio album. At the same time, Chris took over the position on bass that had become vacant in the summer. In December 2020, Heaven's Guard finally announced their first album under the name Pathfinder and released their debut single "The Cause Of Destiny" at the same time. The release of the single has brought the band some attention, including that of the record label Boersma-Records from Essen, which has signed Heaven's Guard for the upcoming studio album. Link
