SAWTOOTH - New EP Out Now And Available For Streaming In Full

Straight from out of the towering, rusted spires of Lowell, Massachusetts (USA), returns goth/industrial iconoclast Sawtooth with another EP of foreboding electronic bangers. With her latest, Cold Days Ahead, Sawtooth walks between two opposing worlds of darkwave sounds across four tracks; the whistling and foreboding witch house haziness of songs like "Crawling Towards The Light" and "Liturgy", contrasted with the cold, stomping, machine efficiency of "Polymer".

Cold Days Ahead also features guest contributions, in the form of the siren-like crooning of vocalist Juliet Brownell-Lee, and paranoid stanzas from John Greene of Boston fuzz-rock group Fifth Business. Additionally, the Bandcamp version of Cold Days Ahead contains an exclusive track: "Our Pristine Machine (Metal)", a mechanical re-imagining of the Robert Prince track "Metal". (From classic DOS computer game Commander Keen 6: Aliens Ate My Babysitter!).

Sawtooth is an electronic music producer/DJ who has been spinning industrial, dark-dance, and video game remix music for clubs and parties since 2013, bringing foot-stomping mechanical beats and rhythms to the underground scene. As a DJ, Sawtooth has cut a swath of hard-hitting tunes all across New England, headlining events in Massachusetts, (including a recent stint opening the 25th Convergence Festival, which took place in Boston) New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Maine, as well as opening events for touring DJs and artists like Hocico, Panic Lift, Interface, Jay Aston's Gene Loves Jezebel, Digital Gnosis, Nevada Hardware, Metamorph, End: The DJ, Kors K, Remo-Con, DJ Venom, and various others.

As a producer, Sawtooth is an in-house DJ for the New England-based events collective System Arcadia, and has produced official remixes for international artists like MOЯIS BLAK, Metroland, Lorelei Dreaming, Flesh Eating Foundation, Big Time Kill, Antidote For Annie, Snowbeasts, Microwaved, and many more.
