Foggia (Italy) based post-punk/darkwave/new-wave band Sis Felix are back with a new EP entitled Rebirth, set for official release on the 26th of May as a self-release. With their songs, Sis Felix captures the deep essence of reality and the constant questioning of their own desires, and they envelop and exercise fears with their songs: "stop and then have the strength to start again", as sung in the song "Sorrow".
In the four songs of Rebirth, the band reassembles the tones dear to the 80s, giving the compositions a modern and personal dimension; the songs exhibit the disturbance and darkness of the darkwave, updated with a more contemporary sound solution and constructions that give life a balance, precise and full-bodied sound also updating Joy Division and The Cure using their own timbre and originality. The songs are melancholy and poignant, they anguish the soul, disturb and recruit the mind of the listener, to the point of freeing their fears. In the songs "Your Colors" and "Sorrow" there is the violin of H.E.R., an Apulian violinist who has collaborated with Franco Battiato, Morrissey and Teresa De Sio.
