One of the finest Belgian gothic rock bands Ground Nero released a new single/video on 12 July. "The Furnace" is already the third single from the forthcoming album, set for release in autumn. "The Furnace", as well as both previously released "Promise" and "In the Blood", promises a great new album.
The Ground Nero trio was formed in 2016, although all its members already played in 80s dark and cold wavebands. When re-starting after so many years, they intended to go back and re-create the genuine, authentic sound and atmosphere of the initial postpunk and coldwave origin of the 80s, but now with modern state-of-the-art technology. So far the band has released two EPs Beyond (2016) and Scales (2018), a debut album Divergence (2019) and three already mentioned singles with a new singer, whose identity still hasn't been revealed.
