Northern Ireland based female-fronted symphonic/power metallers Ravenlight have just released a music video for the track "Blinding Lights", a cover of The Weeknd song of the same name. Using a number of modern virtual production techniques, the band has set out to create a memorable and surreal cyberpunk experience to bring the song to life.
The track is taken from the upcoming EP, Intermission, which will be released on the 27th of August. Intermission was recorded during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns to remain active and bridge the gap between their 2020 album Project Genesis and their upcoming second album since live shows weren’t an option. Intermission is a collection of three cover tracks, "Blinding Lights" by The Weeknd, "Black Diamond" by Stratovarius, and "Zenith" by Ghost, done in a way to preserve the tone of the original while translating them to Ravenlight’s style. Watch the video below, and over HERE you can check out the previously released video for the Ghost's cover "Zenith". Link
