OCTOBER CHANGES - New Single And Lyric Video Out Now

Belgian female-fronted symphonic/industrial/gothic metal band October Changes released a new single and lyric video for the track "Medusa". October Changes's music can be described as an eclectic blend of symphonic, industrial and gothic metal, fused together with some electronic influences. The female vocalist delivers vocals that go from clean, more classic inspired to more powerful dark vocals. The result is a unique and variable sound that has the ability to reach beyond metal-music-lovers.

This song is Part II of a two-part series (the part I was "The Dark Paradise" and you can listen to it HERE). The story of the song is about a siren and a young man that fall in love. But their love was never meant to be. The father of the siren and king of the sea, brutally pulls his daughter back into the sea, because she showed herself to a human being... afraid of the repercussions this might have on all aquatic life, he then condemns her to a life in solitude as a human on a secret hidden island...  Cursed to live in solitude forever... Those who dare to enter the island will inevitably turn to stone. So the secret location of the island will never be unveiled.

When the sun touches the ocean, the little siren weeps and it is said that if you listen very carefully... you can hear her melancholic voice singing a sad song that travels over the waters of the sea. Listen to "Medusa" below. Link
