Russian extreme symphonic metal duo Stellar Void has released the first single from their upcoming debut EP. Stellar Void is a brand new extreme symphonic metal band created by members of the Russian gothic metal act Inner Missing, Melaer and Sigmund at the beginning of 2021. The band's debut EP Chrysalis, which will be released on the 26th of November via Inverse Records, explores the opportunities that emerge when an operatic female voice is used in the songs with abundant black metal blast beats and pompous symphonic arrangements. Cover artwork for the EP was done by Olga Kann. The first single and video "Shifting Sands" is out now and you can check it out below.
Vocalist/guitarist Sigmund comments: "One of the things that I find truly amazing about music is that music always defies time. "Shifting Sands" is actually not a new song – it was written more than ten years ago, and it seems that it was waiting for the right time to emerge, and now this time, the time of total disillusionment and despondency has come."
