Déhà and Marla van Horn - ambient doom metal project duo today released an album Earth And Her Decay through Burning World Records. The release got accompanied by a music video for the track "Purification Ritual", which awaits you below.
Earth And Her Decay is one of the few releases Déhà is planning on releasing this year and this release sees the Belgium multi-instrumentalist collaborating with Polish dark ambient artist Marla Van Horn to craft a sound that is equally engaging and menacing, elegant and melancholic.
There is an overarching sense of hurt and decay that pervades throughout these six tracks, as the duo focuses on slow-moving rhythms, bleak ambiances, angelic voices, and anguished screams that result in a genuinely harrowing and gloomy atmosphere. Link
