Today, French one-man act Mary Cream released its debut EP Pulse via Club Inferno Ent.
Mary Cream is a fusion of dark energies and inner impulses exteriorized by a loud and garage sound, a vocal with new wave influences and schizophrenic tendencies. It's at the heart of this one-man band, headed by Gabriel Apostolidis, that emotions and madness come together thanks to a perfect musical fusion.
Music that is a hybrid of heavy metal, electronic music and post-punk, with a taste for the groove and the powerful and heavy guitar riffs, and the vocal approach focused on music close to Nine Inch Nails, Killing Joke and Marilyn Manson but also nu-metal bands like Korn plus certain darkwave influences.
With Mary Cream's music, Gabriel succeeds in recreating his universe and through his imagery, he exteriorizes his impulses and his madness.
The EP Pulse, recorded by Edgard Chevallier at Lower Tones Place Studio, was anticipated by the single/video "Chemical Wave" - available right below. Link
