GGGOLDDD - New Album This Shame Should Not Be Mine Out Now; Shares New Video

Dutch dark alternative rock band Gggolddd have revealed the poignant new video for "Spring". The song is from their album, This Shame Should Not Be Mine, which is out now via Artoffact Records. Despite the name and the flowers that surround vocalist Milena Eva in the video, "Spring" is one of the darkest tracks on the album.

Milena Eva comments: "This song describes the moment I realized what happened to me after I was raped. I was confused. I froze. I don't remember if it took hours or days or months. I felt empty and alone. And outside winter was turning into spring, like nothing had happened."

The band's most ambitious and masterful work to date, This Shame Should Not Be Mine was conceived in the silence of 2020's pandemic lockdown, partly as a way for Gggolddd lead singer Milena Eva to confront parts of her past and partly in response to the Roadburn Festival's invitation to propose a commissioned piece for its 2021 online edition.
