Founded in Lima (Peru) and currently based in the Netherlands, the dream-pop/shoegaze band Resplandor, released today their fourth studio full-length Tristeza. The new full-length release was produced and mixed by Robin Guthrie, founder and composer of the mythical band Cocteau Twins, who already contributed in the same way to the previous album Pleamar. Furthermore, all songs were mastered by Simon Scott of Slowdive, who also collaborated by mixing the track "Feel". The CD edition is exclusively available via Reptile Music and includes the bonus track "Silencio".
Resplandor are well-known for their guitar-driven shoegaze and dream pop style, creating an atmospheric wall of sound. They already toured Europe, North and South America several times, played big festivals like SXSW and shared the stage with famous bands such as The Cure, Slowdive, The Jesus & Mary Chain, The House Of Love, The Radio Dept. and many more. The entire new album is available for streaming and you can hear it below. Link
