Finnish pagan metal artist Vermilia revealed an animated video for the track "Tuonen Joki" - the second single from her forthcoming full-length Ruska, coming out on 9 September as CD and digitally.
The image for the video was created by Finnish illustrator Antti Koski and the video cut, edit and animation were made by Vermilia, together with the producer Somnia.
Vermilia comments on "Tuonen Joki": "'Tuonen Joki' is a poetic journey where the dead have to cross the river to get to Tuonela, the land of the dead. In Finnish mythology, the river of Tuoni separates Tuonela from the world of the living. This time I wanted to try something new and I ended up making an animated video for the song".
