Rome (Italy) based new wave/darkwave/rock duo Il Lungo Addio, a side project of Federica Garenna and Frank Marrelli from darkwave/synthwave band Les Longs Adieux, will release on the 9th of September via Bandcamp and on the 21st of September in all other digital stores, their debut mini-album entitled Veleni Dalla Corte Del Re. The upcoming release is already available for streaming in its entirety and you can give it a listen below.
Federica and Frank explained why it came to the realization of the new project: "In light of the differences between our upcoming releases (a mini album we will release shortly, Veleni Dalla Corte del Re, entirely in Italian, by new wave/rock Italian matrix, and another mini album in December, entirely in English, synth pop/darkwave style), we decided to separate cleaner our two incarnations. We will publish Veleni Dalla Corte Del Re under Il Lungo Addio and the next as Les Longs Adieux. We're thinking of creating a new page for Il Lungo Addio material (also to cope with the lack of the "invite" button on this one), but we're afraid it might turn out to be disposable. Link
