The legends of German-language medieval rock, Tanzwut, are celebrating their 25th anniversary with a new album entitled Silberne Hochzeit, which has been announced for 24th February 2023 via NoCut Entertainment. The first single "Lügner" will be officially released tomorrow but the video already premiered online and you can watch it below.
The song first appeared on the second Tanzwut album Labyrinth der Sinne, which was released in 2000. Now "Lügner" has been completely re-recorded and will be available on all streaming platforms for the first time.
In the song, which has long been one of the band's evergreens, the frontman Teufel denounces and at the same time exposes all those who pretend to be something else. In equally familiar and celebrated Tanzwut style, "Liar" with its brute bagpipes and Teufel's diabolical vocals leaves you no choice but to celebrate and sing along. Link
