Polish pagan black metal group Varmia has offered another single/video, "Gorzkie Fale", from its upcoming EP Prolog, set for release on 6 January 2023 on all digital platforms.
"Second chapter 'Gorzkie Fale' - bitter waves", explains guitarist/vocalist Lasota. "In this ritual, we hail the collapse of the material world. We separate the spirit from the bone. We immerse in the pure cold waters of our land. We tempt you to take part."
You'll quickly find the intensity of the song is immediate and raging as they blast through a frenetic workout of raw black metal but with a continued appreciation for folklore and nature.
Prolog is the first new music from the band since 2021's bal Lada album. "Gorzkie Fale" follows up another new song, the haunting "Oddal", which is still available HERE. Link
