HER ALONE - Releases Nature-Themed New Single

Finnish symphonic metal band Her Alone released a brand new nature-themed single "Mother Gaia". This is the lead single from their upcoming debut EP entitled Dead End Dream. It's the band's first song written by their singer Annika Eronen and is a ballad exploring humanity's relationship with nature.

Annika comments: "I've always loved to wander through the forests. You can smell the spruces, see a rabbit hopping or admire the snow shimmering in the Sun during the winter. Unfortunately, in addition to all the natural beauty, you can also find garbage, and that's where the song got its inspiration from. We can all do better, and the most important thing is to at least try."

The arrangement and orchestration are made by the guitarist Iiro Inkilä. "The original idea was heavily influenced by folk music, but I wanted to take the song to a more ethereal direction and felt it needed a larger than life -sound to truly get our message across", Inkilä explains.

All sales of the "Mother Gaia" single will be donated unabbreviated to the Finnish Association for Nature Conservation. If you want to help you can purchase the single at this location and give it a listen below. Link
