SERMON - Long Awaited Debut Full-Length Out In February

Turkish doom/death metal band Sermon will release their debut album entitled Till Birth Do Us Part on the 10th of February via Bitume Productions and Earache Records (digital). The band was founded in 1997 in Izmir and soon after released two acclaimed demo recordings. After some line-up changes, the band continued their music with different members and recorded many songs until 2004, but these songs were not released. Towards the end of 2004, the group ended its musical activities.

In 2021, Sermon was re-formed by guitarist Cem (the only original member of the Sermon band) and Durmuş joined the band. Cem and Durmuş started to work on the composition of the album they wanted to release, and after the intense tempo, they prepared the songs and completed the recordings. The vocals have been performed by Harun from Forgotten (another Turkish doom/death band). Listen now to the first revealed track, "Sliver/Splinter", from the upcoming debut full-length. Link
