Norwegian black metal outfit Luteøks has unleashed the second track, "Shaved Vengeance", from its forthcoming debut full-length, Barley True Norwegian Black Metal, scheduled for release on 10 March via Nordic Mission. The album is a unique blend of Antestor and Grave Declaration; it's grandiose, melodic, and expertly crafted, featuring a wealth of riffs and is guaranteed to be one of the funniest black metal albums you'll hear this year.
Luteøks is the rare fusion of humour and black metal, combining the absurd with the majestic soundscapes of Windir, Old Mans Child, Keep Of Kalessin, and Emperor. Barley True Norwegian Black Metal is a love letter to the scene that also highlights the comedic aspects of the black arts.
Recorded at Rumpelukt Studios and mastered at Hemstad Studios outside of Oslo, the album features cover art by tattoo artist Lady E and inlay design by Rune Hansen at Kreasjon.no. Luteøks is the result of collaboration between members from Antestor and Grave Declaration, resulting in a powerful mix of humour and black metal. Hear for yourself... Link
