Portuguese eccentric and avant-garde dark metal project Hoofmark has revealed a lyric video for a new song, "Folktales Of The Archdemon", taken from the second album Blood Red Lullabies, recently released on Raging Planet Records.
The band comments: "'Folktales Of The Archdemon' is the mean one from the album. It's a song about what could have been; about having a nasty life journey and making all the wrong choices while taking it out on others and, ultimately, on yourself. Intense both on its fast and slow moments, the leads provide some light to a song that is decidedly dark in sounds and content."
Released in November 2022 on Raging Planet Records, Blood Red Lullabies was produced and mastered by Towkuhsh Razamod at Erre Studios and features the participation of El Vaquero Ungulado on vocals and guitar, Towkuhsh Razamod on bass, harmonica, accordion, and guitar (solo on "Azuis & Vermelhidão") and piano "All About Our Family (Ella Está Muerta)", Andrecadente on acoustic drums and percussion, André Hencleeday on piano and Jorge Silva on flute.
