UK's cult black metallers Old Forest will release their new album entitled Sutwyke on the 31st of March via Soulseller Records. Old Forest continues their path of orthodox and melodic black metal art. The album was written and recorded during the pestilence of 2020-22, it was mixed by Florian Dammasch (Nightside Studios, DE). The cover artwork is a wood engraving by Robert Paterson.
Sutwyke is rich in folk horror and stylistically firmly rooted in the golden era of early to mid 90s. Just recently the band has premiered the first single, the album opener "Faust Recants (Satan Cometh)". You can give it a listen aND watch the video for it right below. Link
