Finnish industrial metal band Resolution 13 has dropped the Terminator-inspired single/video, "T-13", from the upcoming sophomore album, Derelict, scheduled for release on 23 May via Sliptrick Records.
The song is inspired by the legendary sci-fi franchise "Terminator". The band took a moment from the movie's main theme - probably the most recognisable drumbeat in the movie's history and turned it into a whole new piece of music. It's epic, it's symphonic, and it sounds like a Hollywood production, described as "Hans Zimmer meets metal". The song was produced by Tero "Max" Kostermaa, as several others from the upcoming release.
The lyrics follow the story of the prison planet escapees, who are now being hunted down by these killing machines, programmed only for retaliation and execution of their targets.
