DUST IN MIND - Split Ways With Lead Vocalist Jennifer Gervais

French modern/industrial metal band Dust In Mind has announced a split with its lead vocalist Jennifer Gervais.

The band states: "Dear fans, friends, and supporters,
It is with heavy hearts and a profound sense of both gratitude and sadness that we come before you today to announce a significant change within our beloved band, Dust In Mind. After much contemplation and soul-searching, our incredibly talented and dedicated singer, Jen, has decided to embark on a new chapter in her life, bidding farewell to the band that has been her creative home for so many years.
Since we created the project in 2013, we have shared incredible moments on stage, in the studio, and with all of you, our lovely fans. Your unwavering support has meant the world to us, and we remain forever grateful for the love you have shown us as a band and to Jen as our cherished frontwoman.
As we bid farewell to Jen, we want to emphasize that this is not the end of Dust In Mind but rather a moment of evolution. We are committed to embracing this new chapter with open hearts and minds. Rest assured, we will continue creating music that carries the essence of what Dust In Mind stands for, we will keep you informed in the near future.
Lastly, we extend our deepest gratitude to you, our fans, for your unwavering support, love, and encouragement. We ask for your understanding and compassion during this transitional period as we navigate through these changes.
In unity and harmony,
-
Dust In Mind"

Jen states: "My beloved community and dear friends.
It is with an extremely heavy heart and tears in my eyes that I write these lines to announce that I decided to leave Dust In Mind.
For personal reasons, I must bow out of this band that I founded 10 years ago and in which I put all my guts, my time and my heart. I therefore announce that I will not be present for the upcoming shows from now on.
I have to leave when there is still light on the memories that I embrace in order to keep a positive image of it. You can imagine and understand that if I have to leave, it's due to a desperate situation. It's the hardest decision to say goodbye to my baby.
But there is this saying: 'Sometimes painful endings are wonderful beginnings in disguise', so I will try to think that way and I wish Dust In Mind and my bandmates a good continuation.
I will ask you to keep a positive image of the band, to respect this decision, which is the hardest of my life, and not to judge anyone in this situation. It's never easy for anyone.
I would like to thank you, the best fans on this planet for your support and loyalty. Playing for you, with you was the best thing I've ever done. Sharing this energy, this strength. Being fueled by your reactions and smiles will remain forever in my memory.
And also Thanks to our precious crew members, and all our partners for having been with us in this beautiful journey, also thanks to my bandmates for these beautiful memories that I will cherish for the rest of my life.
Sincerely, Thank you.
