MORTEMIA - Shares Fifth Single And Video From Forthcoming Full-Length, Featuring Lindy-Fay Hella From Wardruna

Norwegian dark/gothic metal act Mortemia, the solo project of Morten Veland (Sirenia, ex-Tristania), has just released the fifth single/video, "Kråkevisa" (The Crow's Hymn), from the forthcoming full-length The Covid Aftermath Sessions. The track features Lindy-Fay Hella from the band Wardruna on guest vocals.

Morten Veland: "I'm proud and honoured to welcome Lindy-Fay Hella from Wardruna as my special guest for The Covid Aftermath Sessions. The song we have done together is an old traditional Nordic folk song called Kråkevisa. It's a song that both me and Lindy-Fay learned to sing in elementary school, and we've both loved the song since then. We have made our own version of the song that is quite different from the original, we slowed down the tempo quite a bit and made it heavier and more melancholic. I feel truly privileged and thankful to have Lindy-Fay on board this project, and I am really pleased to be sharing this song with you all. The song is available on all digital platforms now".

Lindy-Fay: "Hi, I am Lindy-Fay Hella and am the guest on Mortemia's new track, 'Kråkevisa', the Crow's hymn. I was absolutely thrilled when Morten asked me to do our very own version of this traditional, Scandinavian song. An old favourite. It is about a man in the forest and his battle against a giant crow. One of the lines goes something like this: 'Never have I heard something that shameful! Have you ever heard of a crow capable to kill a man?'"
