Solemn and majestic yet bleakest as ever, Convocation is back with its mesmerizing funereal vibes and most ambitious work to date. The band's third album, No Dawn For The Caliginous Night, will come out on 24 November through Everlasting Spew Records.
Finnish Convocation started in 2016 as a death metal project, which later developed closer to darker doomish soundscapes, an outlet for really heavy and slow music with the will to experiment including synths, organs, etc. This brought, in 2017, the release of the four apocalyptic anthems comprised in the Convocation's debut album - Scars Across. Three years later, Convocation returned with the grandeur of Ashes Coalesce, an aural study of concepts encircling death. Now, another three years later, it is time for a third chapter, No Dawn For The Caliginous Night. The first track, "Graveless Yet Dead", is already here... Link
