German dark rock project Nachtfalter has announced the release of its sophomore album, Abschied. Scheduled for digital and compact disc release on 1 March 2024, Abschied showcases the band's dedication to its unique sound, deeply rooted in dark rock and gothic rock genres.

At the heart of Nachtfalter is Tobias Serfling, who is responsible for the vocals and plays all instruments on the record. The live line-up is bolstered by the exceptional talents of Thomas Wagner on guitar, Marko Kraegen on bass, and Mario Maibier on drums.

Speaking about Abschied, Tobias mentioned his conscious decision to self-release the album without the support of a background label, highlighting the band's confidence in their evolving sound and their connection with their fans. Listeners who appreciate the powerful intensity of artists such as Joachim Witt, Lacrimosa, and Rammstein will find themselves entranced by Abschied.
