Italian post-punk act LDV has recently released a video for "Too Many Voices". The track is a part of the band's upcoming album, scheduled for release in spring 2024 via Mold Records.
LDV (La Dolce Vita), defining itself as "post-punk survival", emerged in Udine in the early 80s and has been - always faithful to the 78/84 sound - present on the post-punk scene ever since, and, in 2022, released the 1979 EP - with a statement: "Not Revival, But Survival".
"Too Many Voices" reflects the frequent, though often hidden and silenced, happenings within the four walls where rage and alcoholism have settled. The video (of a shorter and remixed single), directed by Sergio Cinghiale - with a cinematic story under red lights - perfectly captures the distress of this seemingly hopeless situation.
