The new Final Coil album, The World We Inherited, has been lavished with critical adulation in recent weeks, but, unfortunately, the band's label, Sliptrick Records, has run into unexpected production issues with the album's CD version. While the album has been available digitally since its release (16 January), fans were left frustrated by the lack of availability of a physical product. Therefore, to support its most loyal fans, Final Coil agreed with Sliptrick to release its own limited edition CD pack of The World We Inherited.
Final Coil's frontman Phil Stiles has spoken about the current situation and this new collector's edition of The World We Inherited: "The wait is over! With Sliptrick Records facing unexpected production issues, we have agreed with the label to release a very limited, 'band edition' of the album - something for our fans who have been so patient. Housed in a four-panel digipack, hand-numbered, and signed by the band, only fifty copies of this collector's edition will be pressed - head on over to www.finalcoilrock.bandcamp.com to pre-order now. Also available - we still have very limited numbers of the amazing 'Wires' t-shirt, designed by the awesome Dan Goldsworthy".
