German darkwave/ambient rock project Deep Imagination, formed by electronic musician Thorsten Sudler-Mainz, has shared a video for "The Silence Of Winterland" - the darkly romantic track was released in 2023 on the album The Children Of The Moon and is considered the album's "secret single".
In the new video clip, Thorsten again appears with his soulmate Achim von Raesfeld. The guitarist contributes melancholy tones on the acoustic, while background singer Ann Kareen Mainz shines with magical spoken words and echo sounds.

Thorsten Sudler-Mainz states: "For me, the new video clip is the highlight among the videos we have produced for music from the current album The Children Of The Moon. After 'Find Your Own Way', 'Make The Moon Appear' and 'No Words To Say', it's now the turn of the 'secret' single 'The Silence Of Winterland' and thus the fourth video. 'The Silence Of Winterland' is a darkly romantic love song. The lyrics deal with the inevitable transience of love and the fact that lovers reunite at some point after death in a cold paradise, the Winterland. It was the final piece that I composed for The Children Of The Moon and it was the piece that was produced the quickest. The creation was an almost unconscious process, the likes of which I have rarely experienced. That's what I make music for. To mould the musical idea that comes simply and unconsciously from the soul into a final track that makes me and others happy in the end. And new music from Deep Imagination is in the making. A new single will be released next and as soon as the release date is fixed, we will announce it. Stylistically, the new track continues on the path 'From Ambient to New Dark Wave'. I would describe it as a dreamy, darkly romantic and melodic track. Achim von Raesfeld and Ann Kareen Mainz can also be heard on it again". Link
