Eighteen years ago, some underground activists under the name Osculum Infame released one of the most controversial yet generally applauded album ever spawned in France. Dor-Nu-Fauglith has since remained a landmark of European black metal, perfectly blending melodies and harshness. With success came controversy, from the band’s own statement to the (in)famous lyrics of "Kein Entkommen", Osculum Infame was quickly surrounded by a smell of sulfur. After years of rumours about their second coming, Osculum Infame make official the rebirth of the less popular French black metal act, which was formed back in 1995, with the rerelease of all their demos on LP and CD under the name Manifesto From The Dark Age in 2010. Then the new line up, restrained to guitarist originator Drack aka Deviant and drummer Malkira recorded at home in the pure black metal tradition two tracks for the EP entitled QUWM. Joined by the guitarists I.Luciferia and Dispater the band recorded 15 titles in 2011 at their home studio AMSG to release the MCD Consuming The Metatron and the new full album (the real second full album in the story of the band) The Axis Of Blood. Album is set for release on 22nd May via Battlesk'rs Productions. The band stated: "We are worst, remember that. We were, we are and we will be. We are at war against the mass, we've coming in total hate and we fuck them all!!" In the Soundcloud player below you can give a listen to the new track named "Kaoist Serpentis". Album is available for pre-orders at this location. Tracklist and cover artwork of the upcoming album are as well below. Link
