IAMX released a brand new video clip for the track "Oh Cruel Darkness Embrace Me". The track is also a new single from bands just released sixth album entitled Metanoia. Video was directed by Danny Drysdale and you can watch it below. Chris explains about the video: "We ended up trying to capture the feeling of a real IAMX stage performance. Setting a cold mood with the lighting, dressing up, getting dirty and freaky. Keeping it simple. It’s something we’ve never actually done before. The song title sounds so tragic, but in fact I wanted to make this a sexy fun twist on unbearable frustration with the world. To have a level of funky humor. It’s all a cathartic release of negative energy."
In other news, the mastermind of IAMX, Chris Corner, recently moved from Berlin to Los Angeles following the majority of his fanbase and to regain his sanity and his creative edge. Link
