Having just completed a series of dates in Italy with Niklas Kvarforth's Shining, the atmospheric black/folk metallers Selvans are set to hit the road again this month, supporting Gorgoroth, Kampfar and Gehenna on selected dates of the Blackfest Over Xmas Tour. The shows at which Selvans will appear are as follows below.
Selvans, a band known for combining music, lyrics and aesthetics in such a way as to recreate the folklore of Italy's ancient peoples, released their debut full-length album named Lupercalia on Avantgarde Music in October of this year. Recorded at the Faunalia Studios and in Patrizio Tamborriello's Soluzioni Audio, the album's line-up comprises Selvans Haruspex on keyboards, traditional instruments, vocals and programming, and Sethlans Fulguriator on guitars and bass.
