AETERNITAS - Inked A Deal With Massacre Records, New Album Out In Autumn

Aeternitas, the German formerly theatrical gothic metallers, now returns on the scene with a new approach leaning more towards modern symphonic metal/rock. The band has signed a record deal with Massacre Records and are about to release a new album entitled House Of Usher this autumn. The band is around since 1999 and has already released three highly-acclaimed albums: Requiem (2000), La Danse Macabre (2004) and Rappacinis Tochter (2008). The latter is a special one, because it's a gothic musical that's actually been brought to the theatre stage and ran from 2008 until 2011. Rappacinis Tochter - Highlights was also awarded as "Best Musical Album" at the German Rock and Pop Preis in 2008.
Aeternitas have put a lot of time and effort in their upcoming new concept album, entitled House Of Usher, based on the short story "The Fall Of The House Of Usher" by Edgar Allan Poe. You can expect modern symphonic metal with bombastic orchestral arrangements, rock parts with a lot of groove and the unique vocals of Alma and Oliver. Link
