The mysterious Norway based black metal duo Gjendød will release a CD version of its self-titled debut EP on 24th June through Hellthrasher Productions. With 20 minutes of fierce yet memorable Norse black metal in the classic mold, Gjendød evokes the aura of 90s legends (Mayhem, Burzum, Ulver), while giving a nod to the local (Trondheim-based) acts such as Thorns and early Manes. Recorded in January 2016, the material saw its tape release in April 2016 (Darker Than Black Records) and now gets a digipak CD reissue.
