Australian doom duo Obed Marsh recently released their debut full-lenght entitled Innsmouth and now made it available for streaming in its entirety through Bandcamp. Album was written, recorded, and produced by Obed Marsh between 2014 and 2016, Innsmouth delves into HP Lovecraft's horror tale "The Shadow Over Innsmouth", while channelling a filthy, anguished and menacing blackened doom sound that will take the listener to the most harrowing depths of the abyss.
Obed Marsh were formed in early 2014 by Sam Ford and Drew James Griffiths from Ur Draugr, Obed Marsh is a blackened doom metal duo from Perth, Australia taking inspiration from the magical and macabre world of American author HP Lovecraft. Named after a character from Lovecraft's horror tales, Obed Marsh's musical vision combines slow, bleak and crushing riffs, anguished screams and an organic drum production to create a soundscape that is dark, haunting and downright intense.
