Italian gothic/darkwave/post-punk band Der Himmel über Berlin released a new single, "Kafka Motel", and made a video for it. The single is taken from bands latest EP named Emesys which was released exactly one year ago. "Kafka Motel" is the only single extract from Emesys and represents for the band a farewell to 2016, before releasing a new album and setting the tour for 2017.
Fot the video they used the original footage from the movie 'Bullet Ballet', directed by Shinya Tsukamoto (1998), it was edited by bands vocalist Teeno Vesper. The band comments about the video: "We paid tribute to a huge editing and aesthetics master (and monster), Mr.Tsukamoto himself, with a visual remix of one of his sick masterpiece Bullet Ballet."
