Canadian female fronted goth/hard rock/metal act Van Halst have issued a studio update on recording the follow up release to their debut album World Of Make Believe with famed Canadian producer Arnold Lanni, best known for his work with Our Lady Peace, Finger Eleven and Simple Plan.
Van Halst commented: “We are very excited and humbled to be partnering with Arnold Lanni on this new record. Arnold has written some amazing songs and we can’t wait to hit the studio with the new tunes we’ve written with him.”
Lanni added: "I'm excited to be working with Van Halst. I think their future is really bright! Not only is the band writing some great songs and 'hooky' memorable riffs, but Kami's voice is one of the most unique emotional and evocative voices I've heard in a very long time. The juxtaposition of the band's melodic sensibilities and Kami's quirky singing style will make this project standout from all the other bands.”
