THE SUN THROUGH A TELESCOPE - New Album Out In March, Tracks Available For Streaming

Canada based one-man drone/doom/black/post-metal band The Sun Through A Telescope will release on 1st March the second full-length entitled Black Hole Smile. The upcoming album is primarily a home recording (with the exception of live drums and re-amped guitars recorded by Topon Das at Apartment 2 Studios) - written, recorded and mixed by Lee Neutron aka the sole proprietor of all things The Sun Through A Telescope. It will be released digitally via Bandcamp, and on cassette available via Dwyer Records. Black Hole Smile features 17 tracks and is structured as a concept album with many of the songs sharing several musical themes. The lyrics and overall theme of the album are loosely based on the Manson Family, as told from the point of view of an unspecified member, exploring many different emotions (fear, adulation, euphoria, psychosis, regret, depression, etc). In the player below you can give a listen to all of the songs from the album. Recommended for fans of Full Of Hell, Darkthrone, Godflesh, Nothing, Today Is The Day, Jesu,... Link
