Hexer, a four-piece band from Germany will release on 14th April via Vendetta Records their debut album entitled Cosmic Doom Ritual. Hexer are combining doom and black metal with oriental tunes, repetetive riffs, drone and atmospheric soundscapes. Low tuned strings and heavy sub-bass provided by an analog synth create a meditative yet ominous atmosphere. The debut album, Cosmic Doom Ritual, tells the story of a cosmic journey through deepest blackness, being devoured by a giant sea creature and the discovery of a surreal place, mixing mythological elements with sci-fi. The album takes the listener on a trip, entrances and draws him into an abyss. One of the tracks, "Pearl Snake", was recently released as a demo version and is available as "name your price" digital download on Bandcamp. Link
