Grace Meer, the electro-rock artist with cinematic influences, released her first single and video, "Your King". This is a short music film directed by Clément Legrand and Damien Laturaze who were both rewarded by Lady Gaga herself, in 2010. The music video depicts the myth of the androgyne in its quest for uniqueness and self-fulfillment.
This artist, composer, interpret owns her own graphical music universe, which is accomplished, profound and powerful. The short film of the track: "Your king" carries the symbolism of the original search for love and its complementary polarity. Gorged with artistic, mythological, philosophical and spiritual references, "Your King" reveals several levels of interpretation. The short film thus reveals different aspects: the duality in each, the parts of shadow and light, the life and death impulses of Eros and Thanatos, the union of the sacred masculine and feminine. The artist, in the projection of his fantasies and in the abundance of his unconscious, invites us to sound his inner world in a mystical and elevating introspection.
