WARD XVI - Inked A Deal With Rock'n'Growl Records, Debut Album Out This Summer

UK theatrical avantgarde rock band, Ward XVI, have signed with European label Rock'n'Growl Records. Ward XVI's upcoming debut album titled The Art Of Manipulation is a 12-track concept album telling the intraspective story of a female psychopath locked away in a high security asylum. The Art Of Manipulation is a genre defying mix of hard-hitting metal riffs, soaring guitar solos, off-beat ska rhythms, melancholic piano, accordion, catchy female vocals, a hint of electro and to be realeased this summer.
The band was formed in 2013 and since the release of debut EP in January 2015, Ward XVI have gone from strength to strength, headlining shows in and around the North West with an ever-growing fan base. The highlights of Ward XVI's career so far include playing the main stage at O2 Academy Leeds in the final of the Soundwaves Music Competition, supporting William Control and The Men That Will Not Be Blamed For Nothing. After a great response from the release of Ward XVI's self-titled EP the band have recently returned to the studio to record a 12 track concept album titled The Art Of Manipulation. Each musician of Ward XVI is coming from a different musical background drawing in influences from the likes of Alice Cooper, Lordi, The Skintz, Stolen Babies, Scar Symmetry, Diabolo Swing Orchestra, Iron Maiden, Alter Bridge, Jason Becker and Avatarium.
