Texas (USA) based doom duo Canyon Of The Skull has returned! The instrumental doom duo of guitarist Erik Ogershok and Adrian Voorhies (Humut Tabal) will release sophomore album entitled The Desert Winter on 19th August. Consisting of the undeniably epic 37-minute title track of blackened doom, The Desert Winter is a journey deep into the psyche. Listeners are strongly advised to clear out all head space and settle in for this existential ride of the doomed!
The album was recorded, mixed and produced at WoodenHorse studios in October 2016 by producer Zawicizuz and Canyon Of The Skull. Mastering was done by Proscriptor McGovern (Absu) at Nox Luna Inlustris Music. Canyon Of The Skull released their self-titled debut album in October 2015 and you can check it out at this location.
