USA based band Gloam will release on 13th October their new EP entitled Death Is The Beginning via Blood Harvest Records. Set to coincide with a US tour starting in late August, Death Is The Beginning is the Gloam's first new material since their malevolent Hex Of Nine Heads debut album in 2015. Here, Gloam go from strength to strength, maximizing the acute attention to pacing that so marked Hex Of Nine Heads and upping the dynamic details, marching forth with an epic, doom-drenched sort of black metal that's idiosyncratic to the last. Comprising three tracks in a taut'n'terrifying 19 minutes, Death Is The Beginning indeed is a journey, and works essentially like one unified piece, winding the listener through spiritually scabrous terrain.
