LEUCOSIS - New Album Out In September, Track Available For Streaming

The mysterious Californian black metal band Leucosis have announced that their long awaited new album entitled Liminal will be released on 1st September via Sentient Ruin Laboratories. Hailing from Santa Cruz, Leucosis featured at once members of Luvia, and their drummer was Luvia's long serving live drummer for many years. Heavily influenced by iconic underground experimental black metal bands like Darkspace, Weakling, Leviathan and early Ulver, Leucosis' craft shapeshifting and soul-draining black metal that takes the listener on the verge of a void. Spread across long and winding compositions that show both traditionalism and modern traits, and coming four long years after their last release, Liminal consists of their most accomplished, imaginative, and powerful material to date, as well as one of the greatest moments in US atmospheric black metal of 2017. Within you will be enveloped by dismal atmospheres and a dreadful sensorial assault that unifies various schools of thought within USBM – brining together the raw intensity of Judas Iscariot, the majestic constructs of Weakling, and the tenebrous and swarming chaos of Ash Borer.
