THEY CALLED HIM ZONE - New Double Single Out Soon, Available For Streaming

British darkwave/goth/electro act They Called Him Zone will release on 25th August a brand new double sided single "Death Drive"/"I Like Noise". The single comes out of the ashes of their debut album, Crow Swan Wolf, released in January this year. Freudian lead track "Death Drive" delivers a dark, penetrating beat, modulated synthesizers, Steve Maloney's signature post-punk/garage guitars, and the ethereal, venomous vocals of Mik Davis. B-side "I Like Noise" evokes the minimalist electronic pioneers of the early 80s -  a primitive and driving soundtrack to a Ballardian retro-future.
The release will be accompanied by a conceptual music video by Bradford-based Twenty Twenty Films, channelling the uptown 80s vampire chic of The Hunger and the downtown grime of Abel Ferrara. It features alternative models Zombie Cat Girl and Miss Gerrish, and method actor Mark Morris. Both tracks will be released via They Called Him Zone's Bandcamp page on the day of their Infest performance in Bradford on 25th August 2017. You can already give a listen to both of the tracks in the players below. Link
