Belgium based melancholic/atmospheric black metallers Soul Dissolution have signed a record deal with fast growing Swedish record label Black Lion Records. Soul Dissolution started as a project in 2012, with strong influences from bands like Alcest and Agalloch. The band released their first demo titled Cold Rays And Grey Waves in 2014 and their fantastic debut full-lenght, Pale Distant Light, was released in February 2016 through Throats Productions.
Soul Dissolution will release their sophomore album entitled Stardust via Black Lion Records in late 2017 or early 2018. The band comments: "We are very glad to join Black Lion Records from Sweden for the release of our upcoming album, as well as future releases! We have been quite impressed with their work on their latest releases by Hyperion and Mist Of Misery, and after further discussions it seems that we share the same vision, ambitions, and hard-working mentality. This is definitely an important step for us, and we are now looking forward to realize our full potential under their banner!"
Oliver from Black Lion Records added: "We are beyond excited to see a such great band coming out of nowhere, with a sound so beautifully reminishing the glory of the Agalloch, Alcest sound, while still bringing their own unique sound to the game. Upon hearing the album Stardust we are convinced that Soul Dissoultion is a name that will be remembered for years to come."
