Azurea, the new project of Elias Schutzman (drummer of The Flying Eyes and Black Lung) and Stella Schutzman, a classically trained singer, painter and model, have released their debut song and made a video for it. The song is named "Huntress", and is an intoxicating, eerie tribute to the legendary Twin Peaks television series. In it, Stella resembles the spirit of a she-wolf, lashing out against the forces of male predation. And the hunter becomes the hunted.
The couple met in Berlin, Germany in 2012, where a connection developed that would cross oceans. In the summer of 2016, lost in the French Pyrénée mountains, they began recording music with only a computer and microphone. Now one year later they're releasing their debut original song.
