Italian dark ambient/experimental act La Tredicesima Luna just released the debut album entitled Il Sentiero Degli Dei featuring two lenghty tracks. La Tredicesima Luna is a sound made by artist Matteo Brusa, who has established a well respected name for himself through his dungeon synth project Medhelan. After a string of self-released private editions and his last major album Fall Of The Horned Serpent on Germany's label Deivlforst Records, now Matteo Brusa returns with the introduction of a new moniker, and an approach distinctly focused skywards.
This stunning debut from La Tredicesima Luna (translated as The 13th Moon) offers a flawless form of foreboding night-sky synthesis and ominous drone, a cryptic key to the eternal lunar mysteries. Moonlight as filtered through branch and fog, a pristine transmission of somber atmospherics for seasonal shift.
