Germany’s symphonic metal outfit Xandria will return to stages end of this week after an involuntary live hiatus for quite a few months this year, caused by its former singer’s illness and unexpected sudden departure. Whilst social media peers picked up and commented on the singer’s much prearranged split in a hostile, yet personally offending and threatening manner, the band remained calm to not harm any party involved in this case any further. Still, the departure of singer Dianne van Giersbergen left the band stunned and in question.
On the upcoming dates in Europe, band’s friend Aeva Maurelle (else wise fronting German band Aeverium) kindly will fill in as a special guest on vocals and people can expect a unique billing on stage. Tour dates are below.
Xandria commented: "After we were forced to cancel oh so many shows and tours, we finally have something for you again! We will tour through Europe in November/December and we will be accompanied by our good friend Aeva Maurelle from the amazing Aeverium on vocals. Aeva was so kind to be our guest and step in till the end of the year since Dianne Van Giersbergen suddenly decided to leave the band in September (some might have read and followed this in the gossip section)."
