After the release of their debut album, Der Weisse Raum, in 2010, the German dark/gothic rock band Traumtaenzer became a well known live band playing on several festivals between 2011 and 2012 like WGT and supporting The Mission in Bochum. At that time a second album was already in production, so everything seemed to go well for the band.
Unfortunatelly singer Marco Blum had a serious accident at his work in december 2012 and nearly died. He has fallen into a coma and on 21st december he waked up. Starting from that day and after some more strokes of fate he slowly worked on getting back into his life.
During that time producer and songwriter Tom O'Connell needed to work on his many other projects, so the band was on hold. But the popularity of Traumtaenzer never faded. The first video "Für die Nacht" reached 250.000 views on YouTube and the debut album sold out during the years.
In 2017 Marco, after almost fully recovering from his injuries, he decided to give Traumtaenzer a new life. There were some songs already finished and some need to be worked on. The first official new single "Habt keine Angst" has now been released along with a new video clip on 21st december, the day Marco waked up from a coma. Watch the video in the player below. Link
