VYRE - Returns With A New Album In April

German cosmic/avantgarde black metallers Vyre will release on 20th April via Supreme Chaos Records a new album entitled Weltformel. The album is a follow up to two parts album The Initial Frontier, which was released in 2014. More than three years later Weltformel has been created developing the universe of the sci-fi outfit even further. Already a look at the line up testifies that you can expect new achievements from Vyre on both levels, musically and lyrically.
Vyre formed after KG Cypher, Hedrykk and Zyan left their former band Eïs after shattering anomalies within the bands social fabric. Tmax filled the empty place behind the low frequency cannonry and still with Eïs' Marlek on drums, the band recorded a demo which gained them a contract with Supreme Chaos Records. During the negotiations, drummer Marlek blew himself out of the airlock and was replaced by hard-hitting semi-artificial rhythm machine Android.
Invigorated by recent events, the Vyre crew engaged in an elaborate songwriting process, merging the tristesse of space travel and a tale of epic proportions into a debut album so significant, it had to be split in parts like the best sci-fi stories in history. Vyre is a must for fans of Arcturus, Ulver, Manes or DHG. Link
